• How does my Enewsletter get created each month?
#1 We suggest a dental marketing article from our library. We'll edit the article to make it uniquely yours, add pictures, and then you approve it or make changes. You can also request a new article be written on a specific dental topic of interest.
#2 We also will write an article about events in your community so your prospects are reminded that you are an integral part of the community. We also write a dental term definition article plus we include some dental humor each month.
#3 Finally, we write an article about news in your practice each month. It may be about CE courses you've completed, new technology you have, a staff member's profile, a noteworthy case you completed or someone having a baby.
By the way, did you notice that ALL of the options start with "we write"? You're the dentist. We're the creatives. You don't have to write.
• Where does EMarketing get the prospects' emails?
There are 230 million adults (20+ in age) in this country (US Census) of which approximately 153 million have email addresses (Emarketer.com).
EMarketing has a proprietary relationship with a national company that owns 30,000 informational websites (cooking, fishing, politics, etc.) with 80 million visitors per month. From this company, we buy a list of the email addresses of adults 18 to 99 living in the area around your practice. You decide how many you want. The minimum purchase is 10,000 names. If you send to 20,000 or more for at least six months, we waive the set up fee for your Enewsletter.

• What does "double opt-in" mean?
Many people regularly go to hobby websites, special interest websites, research websites and other websites. There, they are asked for their personal information to sign up for newsletters, special offers, surveys, etc. This is called "opting-in" or volunteering their information. When they opt-in, they check a box, or leave a box checked, that says they are interested in getting information from local businesses.
They are then sent a follow up email that asks them to verify that they are, indeed, the person who just opted-in. They must reply to this email (literally opting in to their opt-in) before they will be added to the list.

When you use EMarketing to send your Enewsletter to prospects in your community, we also send your Enewsletter to your patients at no additional cost.
We purchase an iContact membership for you and use their services to send your Enewsletter to your patients..
If you are already using an Enewsletter service like iContact, Constant Contact or Smile Reminder, we'll credit your monthly emailing budget $9.95 (the monthly fee for iContact).
You can upload all of your patients' emails into iContact and also add new patients as they arrive (and delete if necessary).
• What about junk mail, bulk mail or spam folders?
Some of your Enewsletters may end up in the dreaded trash folder. There is no magic bullet for keeping every Enewsletter out of the junkmail box. Even my personal emails sometimes fall into these folders.
However, there are many techniques that will increase the odds of getting your Enewsletter through and we use every one of them. Curtis Group's seven years of experience in email marketing really helps.

• What is "Interactive EMarketing"?
The Enewsletters feature three very powerful interactive tools.
First is the "Send to a Friend" feature. It allows a reader to recommend the Enewsletter to an acquaintance to build your subscriber list.
Second is the "Refer a Friend" feature that allows the reader to recommend the dental practice to an acquaintance.
And, finally, your current patients and prospects can "Request an Appointment". This is especially good for stimulating wayward patients who haven't been in for awhile.

• Can we do other marketing to these prospects?
When you buy the EMarketing list in your community, you get the names and mailing addresses of the contacts on the list. Therefore, you can choose to also send direct mail to the prospects.
• How do I get FREE prospects?
When readers check out your Enewsletter, they may find articles that they think a relative , friend or co-worker might find interesting.
Your Enewsletter has a special "Send to a Friend" feature that allows the reader to forward your newsletter to a friend. When they do, the friend's information is recorded and they are automatically added to your mailing list.
We have had 20% increases in some prospect lists from this simple feature.

• Does the email prospect list I buy get "old"?
It doesn't have to!
Every month that we send out your Enewsletter, we check to see if there are NEW PROSPECTS in your community that are not on your list.
You may choose to buy those "Add-Ons" for your Enewsletter mailing every month. The price is 3¢ for each NEW PROSPECT... you never have to totally re-buy the list to keep it current.
If you choose this feature, you will ALWAYS be sending your information to the freshest, most up-to-date list available.

• How much does the EMarketing program cost?
You decide what you want to invest. The cost depends totally upon how large of a geographic area you want to send to, and how many prospects are in that area.
Like direct mail, we purchase a list of email prospects. Unlike a postal direct mail list, prospects cost only 2.5¢ each rather than the 6¢-7¢ price tag of mailing lists.
Also like direct mail, each time we send out your EMarketing Enewsletter, there is postage. However, EMarketing postage is just 2.9¢ for each Enewsletter rather than the 55¢-65¢ a printed newsletter costs to mail.

• What is the ROI track record for EMarketing?
