Does EMarketing work?...
Dr. Stephen Ziegler
(First week) "Definitely positive ROI! We just finished up the first email campaign and got four good cases plus a few more that are thinking it over."
(After a few weeks) "We had three more new patients in just the last few days and I have to tell you a story. I was backing out of my driveway this morning when my neighbor stopped me and said, 'Dr. Ziegler, you sent me an email. I'm calling to make an appointment today.' Who can beat that?"
Dr. Nilo Hernandez
"Last Thursday we got over 4,000 interested readers and I have seen 3 patients with another one on the schedule today. I have sold enough on these to cover my costs already and still have enough left over to pay for the next three months' mailings."
Dr. Gary Moore
"You've certainly done your job. We've had over 1750 readers from the EMarketing ENewsletter in just two weeks. Plus, we've had six new patients."
F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions)
• You send my ENewsletter to my patients FREE?
When you use EMarketing to send your ENewsletter to prospects in your community, we also send your ENewsletter to your patients at no additional cost.
You can upload all of your patients' emails using your EMarketing Admin Dashboard. There is no limit on your patient email count.
You can also add new patients as they arrive (and delete if necessary). If you are already using an enewsletter service that sends to your patients and want to continue using them for that function (just using EMarketing to send to PROSPECTS in your community) that's perfectly OK with us.

• Where does EMarketing get the prospects' emails?
There are 220 million adults (20+ in age) in this country (US Census) of which approximately 143 million have email addresses (Emarketer.com).
EMarketing has a proprietary relationship with a national company that owns 30,000 informational websites (cooking, fishing, politics, etc.) with 80 million visitors per month. From this company, we buy a list of the email addresses of adults 18+ living in the area around your practice. You decide how many you want. The minimum purchase is 10,000 names.

• What does "double opt-in" mean?
Many people regularly go to hobby websites, special interest websites, research websites and other websites. There, they are asked for their personal information to sign up for newsletters, special offers, surveys, etc. This is called "opting-in" or volunteering their information. When they opt-in, they check a box, or leave a box checked, that says they are interested in getting information from local businesses.
They are then sent a follow up email that asks them to verify that they are, indeed, the person who just opted-in. They must reply to this email (literally opting in to their opt-in) before they will be added to the list.

• How do I choose my email prospects?
The list is available by geographical radius. You can also select by county, however, our online estimating tool does not offer that search option at this time.
Top of Page
• How many email prospects are in my community?
That’s impossible to say until we run your zip code through the system. However, if you call Mark at 1-800-950-7133, he can get you a close estimate within minutes.
Or try our online estimating tool HERE.
Enter state and zip code. Select a radius size and click the "Step 1" button. DO NOT enter age or gender because the tool doesn't count anyone who didn't enter that info. When the "Step 2" button appears, click that for your email prospect count. in your community.

• How does my ENewsletter get created?
You can review a sample ENewsletter template HERE.
If you already have an ENewsletter that you are sending to patients, we can send that same ENewsletter to tens of thousands of prospects in your community.
If the enewsletter service you currently use doesn't allow you to use your enewsletter with another company, we'll make you an EMarketing ENewsletter FREE.
If you don't have an existing ENewsletter, we'll create one using our ENewsletter templates for you FREE.
If you would like a custom masthead for your ENewsletter, there will be a one-time, custom design fee of $295.
You choose the topics you would like to use and then EMarketing customizes the ENewsletter for your practice and sends out the emails for you. Remember, we send to your existing patients for FREE.

• What about junk mail, bulk mail or spam folders?
Some of your ENewsletters may end up in the dreaded trash folder. There is no magic bullet for keeping every ENewsletter out of the junkmail box. Even my personal emails sometimes fall into these folders.
However, there are many techniques that will increase the odds of getting your ENewsletter through and we use every one of them. Mark's six years of experience in email marketing really helps.
And remember, for comparison, some of your direct mail pieces also go into the trash, newspaper ads get passed by without a look, even TV ads are being deleted with Tivo. What really matters is how many people end up READING your information.

• What is "Interactive EMarketing"?
We offer 3-4 paragraph articles on a topic in your ENewsletter. However, the reader can also choose to read a more detailed Free Report (white paper) on the subject.
Let's say that a prospect clicks on a link in your ENewsletter to get a Free Report on dental implants. We now know that they have a special interest in implants - whether for themselves, a relative or a friend.
EMarketing tracks that prospect's interest in the dental topic and we report their contact information to you.
EMarketing has twenty-five different whitepapers for you.
We customize all of the whitepapers so they seamlessly reflect you, your practice, your staff, your website, etc.
To see an example of a Free Report (whitepaper), click HERE.
Other Interactive EMarketing features include the Reader Survey feature and the "Send to a Friend" feature.

• Can we do other marketing to these prospects?
When you buy the EMarketing list in your community, you get the names and mailing addresses of the contacts on the list. Therefore, you can choose to also send direct mail to the prospects.
PLUS... every reader who requests a Free Report from you is tracked by our system. Those names and addresses are passed along to you for further marketing.

• How do I get FREE prospects?
When readers check out your ENewsletter, they may find articles that they think a relative , friend or co-worker might find interesting.
Your ENewsletter has a special "Send to a Friend" feature that allows the reader to forward your newsletter to a friend. When they do, the friend's information is recorded and they are automatically added to your mailing list.
We have had 20% increases in some prospect lists from this simple feature.

• Does the email prospect list I buy get "old"?
It doesn't have to!
Every month that we send out your ENewsletter, we check to see if there are NEW PROSPECTS in your community that are not on your list.
You may choose to buy those "Add-Ons" for your ENewsletter mailing every month. The price is 3¢ for each NEW PROSPECT... you never have to totally re-buy the list to keep it current.
If you choose this feature, you will ALWAYS be sending your information to the freshest, most up-to-date list available.

• How much does the EMarketing program cost?
You decide what you want to invest. The cost depends totally upon how large of a geographic area you want to control, and how many prospects are in that area.
Like direct mail, we purchase a list of email prospects. Unlike a postal direct mail list, prospects cost only 2.5¢ each rather than the 6¢-7¢ price tag of mailing lists.
Also like direct mail, each time we send out your EMarketing ENewsletter, there is postage. However, EMarketing postage is just 2.9¢ for each ENewsletter rather than the 35¢-65¢ a printed newsletter costs to mail.

• What is the ROI track record for EMarketing?
We are constantly gathering testimonials (see top of this page) from doctors as their campaigns go out. The program just launched in November, 2007.
We believe that you should expect great results. Check out the latest estimates for 2008 released by the Direct Marketing Association in October, 2007.
By the way, the DMA is a membership of all kinds of direct marketing companies and is, therefore, unbiased in its evaluation.
